The Green Playground

This summer I had a chance to visit again  Bartlett Arboretum in Stamford. They held a chamber music concert that Sunday. It was raining hard that morning and afterward it seemed that all the trees and lawn were more lush and green than before. The air smelled so fresh. The colors of flowers were more vivid and divine. Butterflies and bees flew around busy working for their sweet rewards. Everything was harmoniously conveyed at the same moment when the sun shone again.

  1. Your second picture reminds me of a carnival ride, a kind of three-dimensional Ferris wheel.

  2. I’ve photographed the tops of some of the wild Alliums that we have here in central Texas, which aren’t as spherical as the one in your picture.
