The Last Dusk of 1432 Hijrah

As I was doing some dishes in the kitchen, something attracted me from our big kitchen window. I looked and saw a magnificent view. Like a painting in the sky, the dusk came upon with beautiful and breathtaking shades of colors. It’s the sunset on November 25th, the last sunset in the Islamic year of 1432 Hijrah. Because the next sunset would be the beginning of a new year and with it comes the promise to reflect,  be humble and appreciate more of what God has given me.

“By the heaven, and by the nightly visitant! Would that you knew what the nightly visitant is? It is the star of piercing brightness. For every soul there is a guardian watching it.”

The Koran, At Tariq (The Nightly Visitant): 1- 4
