Drenched in Bryant Park

One rainy day in New York City, my children and I passed Bryant Park. Empty chairs welcomed us, instead of flock of people sitting and sipping their drinks. The Daffodils were starting to show their new leaves. The American Sparrows stayed quietly on top of the gate wall. The everyday-busy noises were absorbed by the pitter-patter of the rain. New York was quieter that day.
