The Purple Delphinium

The rain fell softly in that afternoon. The old man’s garden on Fountain Street drenched in its happy dance. Each stalk was heavy with flower that bowed and nodded as the rain fell upon it. Their do-re-mi was silent muffled by the pattering of the rain. The Delphinium flowers were abundant and looked stunning in the garden. Their pretty purple crowns were wet.
