The Costume Concert

Two days after hurricane Sandy struck the East Coast, was supposed to be Halloween. But in several towns that got hit the worst, including ours, Halloween was postponed. There would be no trick-or-treating, not that my children went out every Halloween to do that. But it was sad, because last year Halloween was also postponed. The reason, well, it was the worst snow storm that coincidentally happened on the week of Halloween. Though we don’t encourage our children to do the trick-or treating for Halloween, they put on their costumes for it, in a musical concert extravaganza. So, I was sure the kids were having fun together with their music school mates, showing off their musical abilities and entertaining the parents also the guests. I took several pictures during concert of children in costumes, playing, posing and just naturally being kids happily preparing for Halloween that was eventually delayed.
